"My summer internship with the New England Patriots was an eye-opening experience that taught me about the field of law I want to practice."

What are your plans?

I plan on moving to London shortly after graduation to attend law school at Kingston University School of Law. This fits into my life's plan by allowing me the opportunity to see the world and develop international legal skills.

What opportunities have you pursued beyond the classroom?

My summer internship with the New England Patriots' legal department was an eye-opening experience that taught me about the field of law I want to practice. Contracts and litigation were involved on a daily basis. It allowed me to grow as a student by training me to think outside of what I was used to.

What was your greatest challenge?

I took nearly four years off from college because of my father's death and getting back into the grind was a challange. But when I did, things just worked.

What is your message for future students?

Effectively scheduling your hours, days, weeks, and months will be one of the most valuable tools to have while in college. Hang out with like-minded individuals and aspire to greatness.

Also remember: “Our business in life is not to get ahead of others, but to get ahead of ourselves — to break our own records, to outstrip our yesterday by our today.” - Stewart B. Johnson

Is there anyone you'd like to thank?

I would like to thank the leaders of the Frederick Douglass Unity House for their inspirational words and guidance, and also for pushing me to become the best leader possible.
