"I really believe that because of my involvement here, I've gotten everything I could out of college and can leave with no regrets."
I want to go into higher education. My first plan is to become a Resident Director at a different university and take it from there. All I have ever wanted to do is meet and work with new people—helping students become better people is what I want to do.
I'm a brother of the International Fraternity , I've been an Orientation Leader for the past 3 years and a Resident Assistant for the past 2. I was also the Greek Coordinator for the 2010-2011 academic year, working with all of Greek Life besides my own fraternity. Additionally, I've been a part of the Theatre Company and took on lead and supporting roles in a few plays including Diary of Anne Frank, The Laramie Project, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
In each leadership role, I met new people, worked on different projects, and faced different challenges. I really believe that because of my involvement here, I've gotten everything I could out of college and can leave with no regrets.
What you put into college is what you get out of college. If you want to have the greatest four to five, and sometimes even six, years of your life, then make it happen. Time is a non-renewable resource and once it's used up, you can't get it back. Today is a new day, start it off by making a difference in you, in your life, and in the lives of those you love. This is your opportunity—spend the time on what matters.
