"Get involved on campus, it's the best way to meet new people and grow as a person. "

What organizations on campus have you belonged to?

I'm a sister of Iota Delta Nu Sorority, and my life wouldn't be what it is without my sorority. In high school, I never would've pictured being able to accomplish the things I have because of Iota Delta Nu. It made me a great leader and friend—it changed me for the better. I couldn't ask for better sisters, and I wouldn't change a thing about it because it changed me for the better.

What's one thing no UMass Dartmouth student should miss?

No student should miss the opportunity to get involved on campus—it's the best way to meet new people and grow as a person. There are so many different types of organizations on campus that not one person should find it hard to find a place to fit in.

What was your greatest challenge?

My greatest challenge was academics. In the beginning I did great, but as the classes I took became more challenging, I struggled. Bringing your GPA back up is challenging, but finding a major I loved helped because I was taking classes on subjects I was actually interested in and wanted to learn more about.

Is there anyone you'd like to thank?

I want to thank everyone, even the people I never met. Each person affects everyone's lives even if they don't realize it. One decision anyone makes can effect the entire school.

I'd also like to thank my family for always being there for me and supporting me with every decision I made. Lastly, I'd like to thank all my friends and sisters, because without you I wouldn't have had the best experience I could've possibly imagined!
