"I love this school and have made so many connections due to my involvement here."
GET INVOLVED! I would not be where I am without getting involved in as much as I did while here at UMD. This campus has so much to offer but too many students do not take advantage of all the wonderful opportunities.
I've been involved with the Emerging Leaders Symposium for the past two years. It's a symposium for nominated first-year students who demonstrate leadership potential. I've been fortunate enough to help plan, organize, and run the symposium and have met some incredible people!
Accepting that I am graduating and leaving UMD! I love this school and have made so many connections due to my involvement here. It's going to be sad to leave. However, I look forward to starting a new chapter in my life.
To relax and have fun! Sometimes I take life a little too seriously, but I've met many great individuals who have reminded me to take some time to enjoy being a college student.
I'd like to thank my family and friends for always supporting me through even the most stressful times during college. I would also like to thank all staff and faculty for being so supportive and always willing to help. Lastly, I would like to thank the SAIL Office. I've worked there for the past two years and have grown so much from everything I've learned there. They're like family and I'm going to miss everyone!
