"It is great to know that I have a team of UMass Dartmouth resources that will stand by me beyond graduation and throughout my career."
As a member of the entering class of 2010, I was on track to graduate in May 2013 as a full-time student. However, I continued my studies through two summers, and I was able to graduate a semester early in December 2012. As a result, I was able to take the bar exam in February 2013.
As the first person to complete my studies entirely at the Law School at UMass Dartmouth and take the bar exam, I have been able to provide advice to my classmates and help them prepare for the next step in the journey towards a professional degree and license. I was proud to represent UMass Dartmouth for the February 2013 bar exam, and I have great news to share: I passed!
UMass Dartmouth is special because it includes a satellite campus for the first and only public law school in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
The law students of the 2010 entering class will make history this May as the first to graduate by completing the entire curriculum as University of Massachusetts students. I am honored to share this experience with my classmates.
I would like to thank all members of the faculty, staff, and administration at the Law School for providing an environment where I could flourish from a student to a professional. I am currently working in a full-time position, and I could not be better prepared. It is great to know that I have a team of UMass Dartmouth resources that will stand by me beyond graduation and throughout my career.
