No matter what happens in life, you can achieve your goals if you remain steadfast in your resolve and calculated in your actions. The path we take is up to us; life is what you make it.

Overcoming adversity, building a life from complete wreckage, and remaining positive and fighting forward through tough times have been my greatest challenges. Those same things have also provided the greatest rewards—fortitude, resilience, and gratitude.

I would like future students to know that they possess within them the ability to achieve magnificant feats. If they make positive decisions, focus on goals, find a passion, and cherish every opportunity, person, and blessing they have, they will experience lives they never dreamed imaginable.

I'd like to thank all my loved ones. Specifically: Mom, Dad, Sara, Erik, and Chris for loving me through the dark times, and helping guide the way. And all of my extended family: Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins who never gave up on loving and supporting me. I love you all very much!
