"The fast rate of growth at UMass Dartmouth is pretty amazing,
which surprised me a lot."
How did you get interested in marketing?
I have wanted to work in advertising since I learned to talk. I like working with people and interacting verbally. Marketing is an interesting field for me and I like to press my brain to think creatively.
What are your plans after graduation?
I’m thinking of going to grad school, but if a nice job offer comes along, that’s where I will be. Wherever the river takes me, I'll go.
What makes UMass Dartmouth special?
The students make the university so cool. Everyone holds doors for each other and gets along. I have made so many friends at this school. When I leave in May, there will be a big void in my life.
Tell us about your study abroad experience.
I went to Germany with Professor D. Steven White of the Marketing Department and ISU last May and June, and I had the time of my life. I took an international marketing class, visited the Volkswagen car museum, and made friends with other students from places like Poland and New Zealand.
Who are your favorite professors?
Professor Adam Sulkowski is an awesome teacher; no-one else cares about his classes more than this guy. I stop by his office every once in a while to ask hypothetical law questions, and he always knows the answer.
Professor Eckenrod and Professor Walgreen are my two favorite economics teachers. Professor Eckenrod is so smart, and I spent a lot of my junior year in her office getting help in my intermediate Micro class. Professor Walgreen is so cool and nice; every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday is a treat for me!
