Major: BS, Management Information Systems
Hometown: Waltham, MA
"Explore a variety of organizations on campus, because you can meet many different individuals, build new friendships, and have the opportunity to be a part of major events that impact the campus and bordering communities."
What are your plans after graduation?
After graduation, I would like to begin my career in Information Technology and work my way into a systems analyst position. I've always had an interest in this particular field and want to find a position that I can see myself in long term. After working for a while, I would also like to travel when I have downtime.
What is one thing no student should miss?
One thing that no student should miss are the opportunities available all over campus. From opportunities and career advice in the Career Resource Center to events and trips held throughout semesters, there are plenty experiences that should be taken advantage of.
What is your message for future students?
The advice I would share with new students is to involve themselves with the different organizations and activities. Don't just stick to one certain type of group or simply join it because your friends are in it. Explore all of them because you can meet many different individuals, build new friendships, and have the opportunity to be a part of major events that impact the campus and bordering communities.
Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank the professors, faculty/staff, and friends that helped me throughout my time at UMass. They have not only assisted me in some way academically but also have strengthened me as a person.
