Tell us about something you're involved with here and how it's changed you.
I play field hockey for UMass Dartmouth—and we recently won the Little East Conference championship. Field hockey has taught me a lot about self discipline and teamwork and how to manage time and multiple commitments. It has also made me proud to represent UMass Dartmouth and such a strong sports program. I've learned as much on the field as I have off it.
What's your plan for after graduation?
I plan on teaching high school after graduation and hopefully working for a program such as AmeriCorps.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Go to class! It's what you are paying for, and the professors here are so knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach.
