"The attention that I receive from professors and others at the university lets me know that I am not viewed as just another name on a list . . . people here truly care about my progress toward my master's degree."
What makes UMass Dartmouth special?
UMass has been great to me. The attention that I receive from professors and others at the university lets me know that I am not viewed as just another name on a list. I am given respect, and people here truly care about my progress toward my master's degree.
What activities did you participate in at UMass Dartmouth?
I've spent my entire time as a graduate student at UMass working as both a research and a teaching assistant. Being given the chance to gain and use knowledge outside of the classroom has been great. And the positive TA evaluations aren't too bad either.
Who would you like to thank?
I'd like to thank the professors of the computer science department for all of the help and opportunities they have provided to me.
I'd also like to thank my fellow students in computer science for reminding me that there is more to life than just school.
Finally, thanks to the employees of the web development team for being a pleasure to work with. After more than three years of work there, I've probably spent more time with them than anyone else on campus. It will certainly be sad to say goodbye.
