Being involved with Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) has given me the necessary experience that employers look for in college graduates, including leadership experience, teamwork experience and social awareness.
Tell us about your experience in an internship, a research project, or co-op.
I had a great opportunity to intern at the Pentagon for the US Department of Defense. By getting involved with the Washington Center, I was able to put my education to practical use in the dynamic environment that Washington DC has to offer.
What makes UMass Dartmouth so special?
UMass Dartmouth is a special place that has always focused on individual accomplishments and teamwork. The dynamic educational and social environments that UMass Dartmouth offers are second to none.
What's your plan after graduation?
I am planning on working in the private sector, utilizing my finance degree and business background. I hope to also remain politically involved as well.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Get involved! Join student groups, clubs, and sports, and be committed to stepping outside your comfort zone to truly experience college life.
