"Enjoy this time! You will never have an experience like this again."

What reflections will you share as the student speaker for the Graduate Commencement ceremony?
I didn't realize how difficult it would be to sum up my graduate school experience and put it into a three-minute speech. There have been so many challenges, rewards and everything in between the two. What I think best describes this experience is everyone's ability to remain curious in their fields. To quote Cormac McCarthy: 'To me, the most curious thing of all is incuriosity. I just don't get it.'
What have you learned from other students?
I've learned the magnitude of my fellow colleagues' ability to share their time, ideas and themselves. They work so hard, only driving me to work hard and keep up with them.
What was your greatest challenge?
I have learned to push myself in times of adversity. School being so important to me, knowing that this would be my future, I didn't want to lose any part of this.
What advice do you have for future students?
Enjoy this time! You will never have an experience like this again.

Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank my Artisanry faculty, especially Rebecca Hutchinson, James Lawton and Bruce Dehnert, for their continuous generousity, support and mentorship.
