How has the Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) benefitted your education?
It gives me a guaranteed career. It helps financially, and it’s a good way to set goals for myself. It makes me more efficient.
How does your major fit into your life’s plan?
My goal in life after getting my bachelor’s degree is to begin my career as a professional engineer, and hopefully, gain a master’s degree. My ultimate goal years down the road is to open my own engineering firm.
What advice do you have for incoming students?
Don’t get ahead of yourselves, and don’t stress yourselves out. You’re gonna make mistakes. It’s all part of the learning process. Enjoy your time here, and just have fun.
