Sustainability involves the reinvention of the world as we know it: new processes for business and industry, new methods of treating wastewater, and new ways of partnering across disciplines. University research is at the forefront of this revolution-- from materials crafted through biomimicry through ocean chemistry, climate science, and estuaries, to work on sustainability indices and new methods of governance. Many of these involve students and multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research.
