Sustainability Studies has several programs under development at the post-graduate level focused on theoretical and practical courses in sustainability topics.
- The Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Development, a fully online program, opened for enrollment as of January 2011.
- A concurrent of Master of Science in Sustainable Development, is also under development and anticipated to be offered in Fall 2013.
Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Development
The certificate is designed to enable students and professionals to identify, explore and formulate best practices in Sustainability. The practice-oriented certificate provides a multi-disciplinary method for students to understand sustainability practices, processes, methods and measurements. The program is intended for both professional audiences and those interested in pursuing graduate level degrees in similar topics.
The certificate requires 12 credits (4 courses), including two core courses and two electives.
The certificate offers students an opportunity to transition into the Master of Science in Sustainable Development upon successful application and admittance into the program.
