Sudoku
Sudoku is made up of a 9 x 9 playing field with numbers from 1 to 9 scattered throughout. The object of the game is to fill every column, row and 3 x 3 box with the numbers 1 through 9, without repeating any numbers in any given column, row or box.
The difficulty level of the puzzles will change from week to week. Some will be easy. Some will be moderate. Some will make you want to cry. It’s gonna be a grab bag, so hang on.
If you get stuck, the answers can be found here, but don’t give in unless you absolutely cannot do it! What fun is finishing it if you had to cheat?

Poetic Perfection
All the Way Down
By Erica Mann
Lay down beside me
Tell me what you’re made of
Try to explore me all the way
Open me up ‘till the birds chirp loudly
Hold me close with blankets
Take me dancing under the moon
Bare your soul upon mine
Let sensitivity burst out to me
Be yourself and gravitate my heart
Be with me to the end
Love me
And I will love you
All the way down
Untitled
By Lynnmarie Johnson
In every shadow on me
Behind the giant fern
I waited for them to see
What I wanted them to learn
They slowly peeled back paper
As every breath was short
This was my only caper
And the only caper of this sort
Phario bit down on his lip
Leaving his hands rubbed sore
The cat snuggled next to his hip
My mind screaming a silent roar
When finally my job was done
And every corpse lay still
I thanked my lucky stars for one
Red and green nightly pill.
Hello, Letdown
By Shara Marie
The world wears its best dress when
We gaze upon its outside.
The colors are that of the ocean
beneath a summer’s sky.
Because when we dream,
we dream together.
But you are unknown to me now.
I stand as your greatest letdown.
With your eyes closed, you kissed me.
There, you sunk into dreams of better days.
The colors have been cut into, they bleed,
like my heart and the way it decays.
Because when we love,
we love alone.
But that is how I know you now.
I mark you as my greatest letdown.
