National TRIO Day

February 21 & 22, 2008. The State of Massachusetts is hosting New England's National TRIO Day celebration this year. About seven Upward Bound students will have the opportunity to attend this event during which they will visit a college in Massachusetts, stay at a hotel, meet students from other TRIO programs in New England, participate in a college fair, and rally in support of educational opportunity programs.

Summer Program Orientation

Date TBD. Students and Parents/guardians, particularly of new students, are strongly encouraged to attend Orientation sessions.

Junior Workshop

Two days during April vacation. All juniors are required to attend this workshop focused on SAT preparation, the college admissions process, and planning for the upcoming summer.

College Fairs

All juniors and seniors are strongly encouraged to attend college fairs in their area to learn about colleges across the U.S. and Canada.
