Departments

The Vice Chancellor of A&F is the Chief Financial Officer of UMass Dartmouth and is responsible for Budget and Financial Planning, Business Services. Campus Master Planning/Capital Projects, Campus Services, Controller, Facilities Services, CITS and Athletics, as described below:

  1. Budget and Financial Planning
    Responsible for the development and maintenance of the university's operating budget.  These responsibilities include financial planning and forecasting, budget consolidation and monitoring and the management of the budget reporting systems.
  2. Administrative Services
    Provides a variety of services to the campus community: procurement and contracts, purchasing cards, travel program and property control.
  3. Campus Master Planning/Capital Projects
    Provides planning, design and oversights services for all new construction and renovation projects to ensure that these projects meet the university's programmatic needs, are technically sound, and are reasonably maintainable.
  4. Campus Services
    Responsible as the center for providing services related to Conference and Event Planning, Dining and Catering Services, One Card Services(UMass Pass), Campus Center, Main Auditorium, Mail Room Services, Parking Services, Print Services, Student Mail and Package Services, and Woodland Commons operations and programming.
  5. Controller
    Responsible for the recording and reporting of the financial activities of the University's units, and the high -level monitoring of the integrity of financial transactions.
  6. Facilities Services
    The Department of Facilities Services consists of more than 150 employees and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all university-owned buildings and grounds including utilities, cleaning, safety and security.   
  7. CITS (Computer And Information Technology Services) CITS are available to:
    • faculty and staff using university-owned computers and related peripherals
    • students using university IT resources for academic and related pursuits, and resident student for general network connectivity
  8. Athletics
    Corsair student-athletes continue to excel in competition, in the classroom and in the community as vibrant leaders on campus.
