Virtual Computing Lab

System Hours:

The Virtual Computing Lab is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The system may be unavailable for maintenance during some weekends.

How do I get started?
First, you must have an active UMassD logon. Next, confirm that you already have a Remote Desktop Client (RDP) or you will need to download one to your workstation. Then, you can begin the reservation process.

What is an RDP client?

You will need to use a Remote Desktop (RDP) client to connect to your virtual environment. Windows XP or higher computers should already have a client installed.

Users of Mac OS X 10.5 or higher will need to download and install the RDP Client 2.1.1 from Microsoft at
