March 28, 2005 Breaking New Ground: Paul Rudolph and the Architecture of the UMass Dartmouth Campus When the first building of the UMass Dartmouth campus was completed in 1966, some thought it heralded the construction of the most beautiful campus in the U.S. Others were appalled by its austere gray style. Whatever the reaction, architect Paul Rudolphs vision for the campus evoked a strong response then and still does today. The UMass Dartmouth Library will host a symposium on its renowned architect beginning at 9 a.m., April 13.

February 22, 2005 Largest Estuaries Project in Commonwealth History Nears Halfway Point A $1.2-million award has been received by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to finance the 2005 segment of the largest estuaries project in the Commonwealth's history. The award is part of a $12.5-million project that began in 2002.
