September 18, 2002 UMass Dartmouth offers algebra for Middle School students starting September 18 An innovative, technology based algebra class for 7th, 8th and 9th grade students will be offered by the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, beginning September 18. The course, now in its fourth year, is suggested not only for students who are already doing well in their math classes, but also for students who are having difficulty understanding the foundations of algebra.
