March 12, 2002 UMass Dartmouth alumna Edith DeMello 90 receives DEP Outstanding Performance Award Edith DeMello, a 1990 social sciences and humanities graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, received The Department of Environmental Protection's 2001 Commonwealth Citation for Outstanding Performance Award. DeMello is the recycling solid waste planner with the DEP Solid Waste Section in Lakeville.
