January 22, 2002 Cherry and Webb-Fall River Cherry and Webb UMD's Center for Professional and Continuing Studies to locate at Cherry & Webb building in Fall River The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's new Center for Professional and Continuing Studies will be located at Fall River's Cherry & Webb building, following that site's purchase by the Fall River Office of Economic Development (FROED). Mayor Edward Lambert hailed the redevelopment project as a "cornerstone for downtown revitalization."
January 22, 2002 `Algebra for All,' class geared toward students in grades 7-9 UMass Dartmouth's Division of Continuing Education is offering `Algebra for All,' a course for students in grades 7-9, running from February 6 - April 24. The class, which meets on Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Business and Liberal Arts Building, room 218, is geared toward students who have not yet had or who are currently taking Algebra. Parking is available in lot 4.
