Classes will be held at the new Star Store campus in downtown New Bedford from 6-9 p.m. Star Store is located on 715 Purchase Street.

January 24, 2002 `Writing the Sitcom' workshop offered for aspiring TV scribes `Writing the Sitcom' workshop offered for aspiring TV scribes Neil Boushell, a Hollywood television writer, will offer a non-credit seminar on "Writing the Sitcom," at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on February 8-9. The workshop will cover the nuts and bolts of creating half-hour comedies and cover topics such as how networks find writers, writing a `spec' script, breaking into the business, and finding an agent.

January 24, 2002 Mary Arsenault will be first 2 + 2 program graduateat the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Mary Arsenault, age 69, is living proof that it's never too late to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. Thanks to the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth's 2 + 2 program at Cape Cod Community College, Arsenault will fulfill that lifelong dream and complete her studies in humanities/social sciences this December.
