IAD 315: Furniture Dsgn & Human Factors
Prerequisite: Junior standing
This course will familiarize students with the production methods and technology used in furniture making. It will also make students actively aware of the processes used in the creation of furniture designs. Hands-on projects will be undertaken including the construction of models and full-scale furniture samples. Each student will prepare original designs and working drawings. Field trips will be an integral part of the course. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
