WGS 445: Seminar: Women and Politics
An exploration of women's involvement in the processes, institutions and outcomes of politics including voting and other forms of electoral participation, campaigning for political office, office-holding and leadership, and public policy. In examining these topics, the course looks at the roles played by women's movements, feminism, and antifeminism. The focus is primarily on the United States with some coverage of other countries.
