Dr. Kathryn Carter was appointed Interim Dean of the Charlton College of Business July 1, 2017. Prior to this appointment, Dr. Carter served as vice provost for graduate and international programs strategy and dean at the Robert J. Manning School of Business. During her tenure, Dr. Carter advanced the Manning School of Business in new program development, including programs with global partners in China, Japan, India, Kuwait, and South Africa.
Additionally, she strived to assist the faculty in the development and delivery of relevant, high-quality business education, research, and outreach. Dr. Carter also previously served as senior advisor to the provost at UMass Lowell, taught in the field of accounting, and has experience in public accounting.
