- Teaching with Technology
Experiential learning practicum (simulation and mentorship) provides students with repeated opportunities to apply and refine their clinical practice in the care of persons with complex health problems. Students will analyze the professional nursing role, promote health, guide the person, and shape the health care environment through advocacy, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective management of resources in acute and critical care environments.
Online and Continuing Education Courses
Focuses on gaining skills & knowledge in facilitating student learning in both the clinical & technological based learning environment. Students will examine the application of instructional design using a variety of computer & technology based media for the development of learner centered educational programs. The responsibility of the educator in creating a positive, technological rich learning environment is the focus.
