Dr. Neil M. Fennessey is an Associate Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on hydrology, hydroclimatology  and water resources planning and management.  He earned his PhD from Tufts University.  His scholarship includes improving techniques to estimate daily streamflow at ungauged sites, investigating potential climate change impacts on streamflow and public water supply systems and climate change adaptation in the northeast US.   In addition to university teaching and research, Dr. Fennessey has many years of experience working in specialty water resources focused consulting including private practice and providing expert testimony.  He also worked many years for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts developing and implementing technical water resources and environmental policy.
