The group works in the areas of Lorentz and Poincare invariance, gauge symmetry, quantum field theory, generalization of the Lorentz group to transformations of non-inertial frames and physics in non-inertial frames. Currently, they are investigating electrodynamics and mechanics in non-inertial frames and its experimental tests. They are also carrying out extensive calculations on gravitational implications of a spin-2 field coupled to fermion field with translation gauge symmetry in flat spacetime, including the gravitational quadrupole radiation of pulsars.
