This group's research focus is on numerical methods for PDEs based on radial basis functions (RBF). They are currently developing adaptive local RBF method and its application to the simulation of human tear film. They are also working on RBF methods for time-dependent PDEs, in collaboration with Cheng Wang, Sigal Gottlieb, and Saeja Kim from UMass Dartmouth, Jae-Hun Jung from SUNY Buffalo, and Scott Sarra from Marshall University.
