Attorney Allison Blanck, Animal Rescue League of Boston

Allison Blanck is a 2016 graduate of UMass Law and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in November 2016. She also holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington. While at UMass Law, Blanck interned for State Senator Mark Montigny (D-New Bedford) and was hired by his office in August of 2016 as a Legislative Aide, later promoted to Deputy General Counsel/Deputy Legislative Director. In her time in the Senators office Blancks legislative portfolio included distracted driving, healthcare, college affordability, and animal welfare. She joined the Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) in September of 2019 as Director of Advocacy. Since 2019 she has worked on policy relating to criminal penalties for animal cruelty, protections for companion animals, improving farm animal welfare, and protection of native wildlife.
