Carnaval is, for sure, one of the most sign ificant and widely celebrated cultural holidays across luso-countries, wit h emphasis in Brazil, Portugal and Cape Verde (the ones we have representa tives in UMD). It’s a time to celebrate community, resistance, identity and history! This event is organized and hosted by Lusophone Student Union , a club for students made by students.
