The purpose of the event is to raise money that will be used to purchase toys for local children's charities. We raise mon ey in two ways - the first is to sell hot dogs with unlimited toppings for just 75 cents each. We also sell drinks and bags of chips while supplies last. The second way we raise money is by collecting donations on the quar ter line. A strip of tape is placed along the railing near the hot dog sal es. For those who may not want to purchase a hot dog, this is a way for pe ople to contribute to the fund raiser. In years past, the quarter line wou ld stretch almost the length of the railing! We have raised over $25,000 o ver the years for this event.   Toy donations will be accepted. \nEvent page: https://www.umassd.edu/events/cms/12-2-26-29th-quarters-for-christma s-.php X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:
