Vaccines are an important tool in the fight against Covid-19.  They are effective and can keep you from getting and spreading the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccines also help keep you from getting seriously ill even if you do get COVID-19 and may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19

The booster available for this clinic is Moderna. Anyone 18+ who meets one of the conditions below qualifies to receive this Moderna booster.

  • Individual has had a Pfizer or Moderna 2-series COVID-19 vaccine at least 6 months prior

or

  • Individual has had a Johnson & Johnson (J&J) 1 shot COVID-19 vaccine at least 2 months prior

Important note: ideally you should have 2 weeks between vaccinations so it is advised to not receive the booster if you have received any other vaccination such as a flu shot within the two weeks prior to these clinic dates.

Walgreens is required to verify your Covid vaccination dates and dose so you must bring your Covid Vaccination card or copy (can be a picture on your phone) of your Covid vaccination card with you. You will also need to complete the Walgreens Informed Consent for Vaccination form. It is recommended that you bring the completed form with you but they will have blank copies available for you to complete at the time of your appointment if needed.
