Electronic W2 Consent

Employees who have not already done so may consent to receive their Form W-2 electronically rather than by mail by logging into HR Direct and navigating to: Employee Self Service > W-2/W-2c Consent.

Why should you sign up for Electronic W2 consent?

  • ​​​​​There is no possibility your W2 might be lost, delayed or misplaced by the U.S mail service. This is another way to help keep your data safe.
  • Each year, hundreds of W-2's are returned as undeliverable so no worries if you have moved.
  • Employees who consent to electronic delivery may retrieve their W-2 earlier in January than would receive a printed form, which is mailed at the end of January each year.
  • Electronic statements are easily accessible and more eco-friendly!
