The Workers' Art Center is presenting a program for children to learn about the labor movement and child labor

Join us on July 11 from 5-9pm for a program designed for kids about labor

Come to have a photo taken of you in a Lewis Hines historical photo.

Come to the Workers' Arts Center to take your photo as one of the child laborers in our region.  Lewis Hine took photos in Fall River of children working in the mills that we used to abolish child labor.  Join us to discuss what it was like for children who worked in our factories before child labor laws were changed.  There will also be coloring books on work related themes available for kids - or adults.  We'll have union made Crayola crayons available!  We'll show educational films about the era of child labor and have related books on display.  WAC is located at 560 Pleasant Street at the Greater SE Mass Labor Council.

The Workers' Art Center is a collaboration of the UMassD Labor Education Center, the Greater SE Mass Labor Council and the Teamsters 59.
