A Message from the Dean
Dear UMass Law Alumni,
The new semester is underway at UMass Law and our faculty, students, and staff are hard at work pursuing justice in many ways and on many fronts. We are incredibly fortunate at the law school to have so many individuals who study and work at UMass Law because of an abiding passion for justice, access, and opportunity.
One fantastic example of our community living this mission occurred at last week's Walk to the Hill, when nearly 50 UMass Law students traveled together as group to the State House in Boston to advocate to their legislators for increased funding for civil legal justice in the Commonwealth. As is true every year, UMass Law sent many more law students to engage in this important advocacy work than any other law school in the Commonwealth.
As Dean, I am incredibly proud of our students and of the faculty and staff who support them on their journey to fulfilling and meaningful legal careers. Our law school is on the rise in the pursuit of justice!
