York and Chapel Streets, New Haven, CT. This building is Paul Rudolph's most well-known work. Controversial from the start, it is a structure that generates a wide range of opinion. The building underwent a complete restoration by architect Charles Gwathmey, of Gwathmey Siegel & Associates Architects. The A & A was rededicated as "Paul Rudolph Hall" in November, 2008.
