Brown Residence, 251 West 13th Street, New York, NY, 1967, Alteration, 1971

Robert D. Brown is an artist and founder of the First National Church of the Exquisite Panic, "a self-made religion devoted to laughter, art and the road to Nevada (Nirvana, says Mr. Brown is too hard to find)." The structure was originally designed by Richard Morris Hunt, 1887-1888 as a library.
