A state lawmaker, heart surgeon, and professor will be the recipients of the first annual College of Arts and Sciences Samuel A. Stone Alumni Achievement Awards at UMass Dartmouth tonight. The awards, named in honor of the late founding dean of the College of Arts and Sciences, will be presented tonight at a dinner organized by the college and the UMass Dartmouth Alumni Association.
