Inaugural Gift Campaign for Scholarships

Thank you for your interest in supporting student scholarships at UMass Dartmouth. On the occasion of the inauguration of Dr. Robert E. Johnson as the 10th Chancellor of the university, we are pleased to announce the Inventing Our Future: Campaign for Scholarships, chaired by MarDee Xifaras. We seek to secure $100,000 in new scholarship support for current and future students.

This comprehensive campaign is inclusive of all new scholarship donations, including new endowments, Blue & Gold Scholarships, as well as general scholarship gifts. Blue & Gold Scholarships are awarded to students who face emergency tuition challenges.

Here are ways to support scholarships at UMass Dartmouth:

Blue & Gold Scholarships

A one-year donor commitment of $3,000 for a student of need meeting minimum GPA requirements. Blue & Gold Scholarship recipients are juniors or seniors who struggle to meet the financial demands of attending and completing college.

Blue & Gold Star Scholarships

A four-year donor commitment of $12,000 for a student of need meeting minimum GPA requirements. Blue & Gold Star Scholarships may be awarded to entering or second year students in a specified college and available for subsequent years if all requirements are met. Blue & Gold Star Scholarship recipients are students who struggle to meet the financial demands of attending and completing college.

General scholarships

Your recurring or one-time gift of any amount may support general scholarships at UMass Dartmouth.
