Workers Art Center, New Bedford, Cape & Islands

The UMassD Labor Education Center is a key partner in the Workers Art Center (WAC).  WAC represents working people in New Bedford, Fall River, SE Mass and the Cape and Islands. We support the artistic endeavors of working people focusing on social justice, labor and civil rights. WAC is affiliated with AHA! (Art, History, and Architecture).  AHA offers a free night of cultural programing on the evening of the second Thursday of the month.  We primarily hold our events the Greater SE Mass Labor Council located at 560 Pleasant Street in New Bedford, MA.
