Introduction to dual language education. Content includes foundations and principles of second language, models of dual language education program, and biliteracy in dual language education. Students will be introduced to different models of dual language education, such as one-way immersion, two-way immersion, cultural competence, as well as issues of equity and social justice in bilingual education.
