MTH 147: Fundamentals of Statistics

Prerequisite: ALEKS score of 40 or higher OR completion of MTH 100 OR sophomore standing or higher 

General Education requirement: 1D - Mathematics

An introduction to statistics and probability. Topics include: measures of central tendency and dispersion, elementary probability, binomial, normal, and t-distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, and a survey of correlation and regression analysis.
