Finishing your associate degree is a major accomplishment, and UMass Dartmouth is here to help you keep building on that success. Qualified Massachusetts and Rhode Island community college graduates can earn a tuition credit for online courses while pursuing an online bachelor’s degree.
This program honors the achievements you’ve earned at your community college and helps ease the cost of finishing your bachelor’s degree. Supported by the Department of Online and Continuing Education, it provides some financial relief as you continue toward your next academic milestone.
Participants currently receive a 15%* tuition credit for meeting the following criteria:
- You have completed your associate’s degree from a Massachusetts or Rhode Island state community college with a 3.00 GPA or higher
- You are matriculated in a fully online UMass Dartmouth undergraduate degree program within two years of receiving your associate’s degree
*The tuition credit rate is subject to change by term. It will be applied to your account after continued eligibility has been determined each semester
To remain eligible for the online tuition credit, you must:
- Maintain a 3.00 cumulative GPA or higher at UMass Dartmouth
- Continuously enroll in undergraduate online courses each fall and spring semester
- Be matriculated in a fully online UMass Dartmouth degree program
- Complete your bachelor’s degree within 4 years of your initial matriculation term
