Book Advances
Students with excess financial aid may be eligible for a book advance. Book advances are financial aid funds that can be used online with the campus store to required course materials. Students will receive an email if eligible. Book vouchers are available for fall and spring semesters. There is no longer a need for students to accept book advances(vouchers). Students who are eligible for a book advance will be emailed to alert them of new eligibility status on Mondays and Wednesdays. All book advances must be used within a restricted timeframe at the beginning of fall and spring semesters. Book advance charges will only be applied to the students account if funds are spent.

How to Order Books
There are two easy ways to order books:
- Visit umdstore.com and search books by section number, title, or ISBN number. Add to your cart and checkout.
