Fall 2020
Due to COVID-19, please be aware that there will be a reduction in transportation services for the Fall 2020 semester. To adhere to CDC recommended guidelines for public transportation, UMassD Transportation services will:
- reduce capacity in shuttles and busses
- limit stops to three on existing routes
- mandate a back of the shuttle to front of shuttle loading protocol
- fog each shuttle every hour with a sanitizing agent
The transportation schedule will be as follows for Fall 2020
Campus Loop (Lot C, Campus Center, Library): 7:45am - 5:00pm
ADA/Law (on call, email Transportation@umassd.edu): 7:00am - 6:00pm
Retail: 1pm - 8pm

SRTA: SRTA 2020-2021 Route Schedule
DATTCO has discontinued service to the UMass Dartmouth campus. For transit service to Boston, ride the SRTA line to New Bedford, and then ride DATTCO to South Station.

- Visit buswhere.com/umassd and sign up with your UMassD email.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you. If you don't see it, make sure to check your spam or trash folder. Click the link to register.
- Download "BusWhere for UMassD" in your phone's app store.
- Login to the app using your UMassD email.
Safe Rides program
The Safe Rides program provides a safe ride around campus for students after the Corsair Shuttle stops operating.
Call Transportation dispatch at 508.999.9175 or x9175 from an on-campus phone. The Safe Ride Shuttle driver will pick you up at a designated shuttle stop close to your location.
Safe Ride Transportation concludes on the last day of classes each semester.
Sun: 11pm–2 am
Mon–Wed: 12am–2am
Thurs–Sat: 1:30am–4am
Safe Walk
When the Safe Rides Shuttle Service hours conclude, you can contact the UMassD Police dispatch at 508.999.8107 to request a Safe Walk to your campus destination.
Accessible Transportation
We provide transportation services to students with disabilities between on-campus locations via a wheelchair-capable van. To schedule: transportation@umassd.edu.
For questions regarding this service, contact the Transportation Office at 508.999.9175. If the shuttle service is cancelled, contact UMassD Police at 508.999.8107.
Bus service via SRTA to Fall River & New Bedford
In partnership with SRTA, we offer students the ability to ride SRTA buses at no cost by simply showing your UMass Pass. View the SRTA 2020-2021 Route Schedule. SRTA provides access to routes and stops in Fall River, New Bedford, and the surrounding area.
LAST BUS: The SRTA #9 bus provides transportation from the Main Campus (Campus Center) to the New Bedford Bus terminal. The bus also makes all intermediary stops along its route from UMassD to the New Bedford terminal. The bus normally arrives at the Campus Center at approximately 8:27pm and waits until 8:35pm before it begins its route to the New Bedford Terminal.

UMass Law Route
No service when the university is closed, such as for school breaks, holidays, or school closing due to inclement weather.
New Bedford: Star Store arts campus & SMAST
To travel between the main campus and:
- Star Store arts campus downtown, ride The Loop
- SMAST in the south end, ride local public transportation (covering New Bedford & Fall River): SRTA: Southeastern Regional Transit Authority. See route maps for exact stops.
Special Events/ReservIt
- To request transportation for special events, contact the transportation office, 9am–4pm.
- Approval is based upon the availability of staff and shuttles

Bike racks are available outside most buildings around campus.
