The Government Relations team advocates for the UMass Dartmouth campus and its students by building relationships with Massachusetts city and town officials, state legislators, and executive branch officials. The team also works with federal legislators in Washington D.C. to inform elected officials of how their support can help UMassD students succeed. Additionally, the team is involved in outreach to various non-government entities including the business community, educators and other relevant groups and organizations.
