Media Relations

The team also works to promote UMass Dartmouth and the accomplishments of its students, faculty, and staff to external audiences. By working with media and other communications organizations, the Strategic Communications & Media Relations team improves the University's reputation and shares UMassD's success stories with the wider world.

Internal Communications

The Strategic Communications & Media Relations team works to keep the UMassD community connected through the sharing of news and stories across various types of media, including: 

  • UMassD Announce – Monday morning newsletter that features informational notices, campus events, and public announcements of theses and dissertations. Fill out the UMassD Announce form to submit entries.
  • Weekly Update – Thursday afternoon newsletter that features a curated selection of campus-affiliated media stories, important events, and campus community accomplishments. Please email publicaffairs@umassd.edu to submit entries.
